This qualification is aimed at level 3 beauty therapists, dental nurses, nursing assistants and medical professionals, this VTCT, Ofqual approved, level 4 qualification, will provide you with the relevant knowledge and practical skills to safely and competently perform laser and light treatments hair reduction independently.

Whilst this qualification is not a mandatory requirement, the HEE report commissioned by the UK government have recommended that high level treatments are carried out by qualified practitioners. This is also becoming a requirement for local authorities and insurance companies to check appropriate training has been completed before licensing and insurance is granted. Who can enroll onto the level 4 Skin Rejuvenation qualification?

Level 3 beauty therapists, dental nurses, nursing assistants and medical professionals. We are also able to accept some other beauty qualifications please enquire to see if you are eligible.

What are the options for completing the qualification?

With our Level 4 there are many different approaches to gaining your level 4 qualification. The route to achieving this will depend on your previous training and any previous experience you might have. If you are an experienced beauty therapist or medical professional you can complete the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), we do require that you successfully complete the online learning including the end of module quiz’s and send us a log book of 25 treatments you have performed for each procedure over a 6 month period. If this is new a new area of treatment for you, you will need to complete the full qualification.

Do you offer finance options for the course?

Yes we do. We offer a 0% interest finance plan to help you spread the cost of your qualification. You will need to pay 50% of the course fee upfront plus a £50 administration fee. The rest can then be paid over 6 or 12 monthly installments. All prices stated are all-inclusive which means there are no hidden costs along the way.

What is the structure of the level 4 Qualification in Laser and Light Therapy?

You will complete an online course via our interactive online learning portal, as part of these you will complete SAQs (short answer questions) to demonstrate your knowledge. Attend 2 training days where you will observe laser hair removal and PIL treatments being administered by our expert practitioners and supervised practicals treating live patients with laser hair removal where you will be assessed.
