Katerina obtained a Nursing Degree from Middlesex University, along with a Masters Level course in Teaching and Preceptorship from Hertfordshire University and Independant Prescribing course also from Hertfordshire university.

After qualifying as a Nurse in 1998 she then took 3 years out to be a mum (at that time also studied a Psychotherapy course), then went on to work in a Minor Injuries Unit for a year where she consolidated her Nursing skills by working in a fast paced and busy unit.  Katerina then went on to work for 9 years in a Fracture and Orthopaedic clinic of a busy General Hospital, eventually becoming the Lead Nurse there and managing the department. Katerina also works at SK:N as an Aesthetic Nurse in one of their Central London Clinics.

Starting her Aesthetic career at Cosmetic Courses in 2011 where she did her Foundation Botox and Filler course.  She said she knew from then that she had found the area she wanted to specialise in as from the beginning she was so fascinated and inspired by that first course!

Katerina typical working week at Cosmetic Courses consists of travelling across our London and Buckinghamshire skin clinics, occasionally travelling up to Birmingham to train there leading our foundation to advanced courses for medical professionals.

“The variety in my week is something I love because I meet new people all the time, however I still also have a lot of patient contact and have a great relationship with my regular clients.  I do sometimes stop and think how lucky I am to sometimes feel that my work doesnt feel like work at all.”
